Dec 27: Can you believe it took so long to get back to a computer. I had only spent about 10 days in New York when Wayne asked me to go to Churchill Downs. I was there until December and I am now back in Florida for the winter. While I was in Louisville, I painted the house I was staying in. It had the most disgusting wall paper and as soon as the home-owner agreed, I stripped the paper and painted. The house looked much better when I left. Happy holidays to all. Robert, if you read this how about you ever call your poor son.

Sept 6, 2003: Hello from New York City. Gee, golly! but it is expensive here and the people live like sardines. This is going to take some getting used to. I have rented a one bedroom basement for $900 a month. I have a room-mate who lives in the 'den'. My bedroom is the biggest room so I live in there and pretend that beyond the closed door is a mansion. I am looking for a second job to afford two homes. The family stayed in Saratoga and will come to visit on the weekends.

Sept.2003 : After four tack failures and related injuries, I have moved to the barn of Wayne Lukas. The Subaru is as done as it will be getting for now. All the work needed for inspection is done and it is on the road. I got it all sanded and primed and now Mom will be giving it a cute paint job. Byron has been working hard at the local fairs and starts 8th grade next week. I am off to Belmont for the fall meet.

August 2003: I had a pretty bad fall and got a CT scan and Xrays. Nothing serious just sprained my neck and bruised my back and kidneys. Got a few days off so I replaced the fender, grill and bumper on my Tracker. I had to prime and paint them first. I also did a lot of work on the Brat. I started with the driver side and replaced the stearing boot, tie rod end, ball joint, and the whole hub (stearing knuckle, disc and calipur - all new.) I have some 'before' pictures that I will put up here as soon as I get a decent internet connection rate. My nails are taking strain. It's a good thing I'm not dating right now. I'd be hard pressed to get the oil out from under them. LOL Ben (my home built computer) is playing like a good boy right now. The only problem seems to be a minor conflict between the graphics accelerator and the OS. I hope I can find an updated driver. Otherwise I shall just get a card of another brand.

July 2003: Gungi is out front in the field. The dogs roll in stinky cow $#!* every day, life is great. I just built my own PC and IT WORKS!!! I am thrilled with myself. The only problem is that my Tech support sucks (LOL). Now Byron is playing games galore on the PC and I am having to use the new iMac. I got so tired of my Mom calling me for help with her PC that I recommended she get a Mac. (My Mac friends told me she would have fewer problems, NOT!!!!!!!) So it seems we will be swapping computers. She gets my nice new PC and I have to learn a new system. Serves me right for opening my big mouth. This one has great video editing/burning features so I will get out the camcorder and make a little clip or two to put on the site.

May 2003: We have moved back to Saratoga. Found a nice newly renovated farmhouse 15 miles from the track. Space for all the dogs and the pony. I sold Lady Bug. She is living in Dayton, Ohio. Gungi is on the track until his new paddock is ready. I am working for Nick Zito. We won the Oaks with Birdtown. We have some nice 3 yo's and a terrific looking batch of 2 yo's.

March 2003: Same old hot, boring Florida. I went bungee jumping, I've been on much better coaster rides. Also went night diving with Jason. The colors are so much better at night.
