Dec 2004: Happy Holidays! In Arkansas for the winter. The weather is bizzare here. One day well below freezing, then hot and rainy and then an overnight plunge well below freezing again. Yesterday it felt like the tropics and today we are arctic. Byron and I have done some hiking in the hills around town. (on the warmer days) We even went hiking in the clouds and got very wet. The horses are doing well and racing starts here in a couple of weeks. Nov 28: Racing is over at Churchill so we will be shipping south soon. Time to pack again. If you haven't heard from me in a while and think I have forgotten you then email me and I'll email back. Possibly only after I go south but I will do it. Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. Nov 15: I added a couple of movie clips to the photo album. They are a little fuzzy but I shall improve as time goes by. Maybe! Nov 11: After Breeders Cup, Stellar Jayne went on sale. She sold for $3.6 million. I am now Azeri's exercise rider so I wont be getting any time off soon. Otherwise, nothing much has changed in the last week except the weather. Getting colder by the day. Bloody cold and rainy today. Nov 1: Busy weekend. Our Breeders Cup horses finished 3rd in the Distaff (Stellar Jayne), 4th in the Juv Colts (Consolidator, injured in the race, will be fine), and 5th in the Classic with Azeri. Yesterday we had three runners for a win and a second. Good start to the new meet. Oct 23: On Thursday I rebuilt my PC. I was having boot up proplems and peripheral clashes so I figured the motherboard was on the blink. I put in a really cool motherboard with built in surround sound and video making abilities. It also has all the latest hookups so I can upgrade my other hardware. I replaced the power unit for the same reason. Newer types of cables and more wattage. Working like a charm. Next week another 512 megs of RAM and Byron will be playing his online games with even more gusto. We have Azeri, Stella Jayne, and Consolidator in the Breeders Cup this weekend. Oct 3: My sister Tammy got married yesterday. WAY TO GO TAM!!!! And my new brother-in-law is a doctor so I suppose he has some uses. Kidding Kyle... Welcome to the family. Also changed from DSL to cable internet. Much faster and cheaper. Sept 2004: Went to Saratoga for the meet. Had a few winners. Crashed heads with a horse, got a CAT scan. It rained almost every day. Back in Louisville until December. Home-schooling Byron again since he spent all his time in public school sitting in suspension. Mom is off in Washington State visiting Hope, Jason, and Dean. They moved there from Florida a few months ago. May 2004: Moved back to Louisville. We have made this home base. Byron loves his new school. We have the great race mare, Azeri, in our barn. Also lots of lovely new 2yo's. My cell phone is broken so email me for my home number. I just hooked up to DSL so now I have no excuse not to keep this site updated. Note diference in rent. NY $900 for tiny basement. Louisville, $385 for 3 bedroom house with yard for the dogs. Jan 2004: Happy New Year!!!
